Dr. McClure is a Board-Certified endodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He graduated #1 in his class from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and earned his Endodontic Certificate from Tufts University in Boston. Originally from Virginia, he received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
Dr. McClure takes a special interest in new technology, incorporating the most effective techniques in CBCT 3-dimensional imaging, microsurgery, and root canal disinfection. As a strong believer in evidence-based dentistry, he stays current with the latest endodontic literature, adopting the most effective clinically proven materials and methods into his technique. Aside from treating patients, Dr. McClure enjoys teaching, having served as a lecturer and clinical instructor at Tufts University. He has volunteered in numerous Mission of Mercy events (Harrisburg, PA, Roanoke, VA, and Springfield, Va), and provided free dental care in foreign countries – Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
Dr. McClure is a member of the American Association of Endodontics (AAE), Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society, American Dental Association (ADA), Florida Dental Association, Northeast District Dental Association, and Jacksonville Dental Society.
In his free time, Dr. McClure enjoys scuba diving, golfing, playing with his dog, Sebby, and traveling with his wife, Dr. Jane Han, who is currently serving the U.S. Navy as a general dentist.
